Who is Caribe Devine?

Caribe Devine is one of the leading TV news anchor of ’12 News’ . She started her career in 2005 engaging with 12 News. During starting days, she have served as Chief Meteorologist and now she performs as weather news reporters.

Earlier Life History and Educational background

40 years old Caribe was originally born on the month of June 15,1979 in Longview, Texas but eventually her family shifted to El Paso where she spent her childhood days with her sisters named as Jacqueline and Quetzal. Her father is of African-American ethnicity and mother is of Mexican-American ethnicity.

Caribe joined Andress High School for her high school education where she got chance to work as News Team Anchor Reporter . Though she pursuaded a degree in education  in University of Texas, she decided to continue her career through News Forecasting choosing her field of interest. She holds a degree of Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi University. Also, she is a part of “National Weather Association”.

Caribe’s husband , Founder of METI company

Caribe Devine tied knot with Renard Johnson who is a the CEO and Founder of a Technical company, METI was born in Chicago. Renard comes from a family having good business background. He works on contract and professional basis following deals related to agriculture, technical services including projects nationally and internationally. The company is flourished in more than 50 countries having offices in Peru, Lima etc.

The couple is blessed with two daughters, named, Navaeh (October 2009- 9 years old) and Aviva(December 2013-5 years old).

Caribe truly believes that along with good news broadcasting, good appearance is really necessary for a News Reporter. Before coming up for any news forecasts she makes sure that her dress up is perfect and not messed up with colour issues. She avoids green colour dresses while doing her reporting job so that she doesn’t get disappeared with the green background of the weather screen.

In her real life too, Caribe maintains her look and prefers black and white colour as her anytime favourite colour to dress up. She loves buying bags and have huge collection of Louis Vuitton bags and bags of other brands too.

Perfect example of women who balances her career and her family

Caribe Devine started her career path right after completing her college degree. First of all she joined  KFOX tv in the position of Weather Reporter in Texas, El Paso and later on, she served at KTSM tv channel news which is in El Paso.

Being a mother of two daughters, she is working for her career so well that her gracefull and impressive Weather Reporting has made her well known TV personality.

Devine got opportunity to work for Breast Cancer Awareness programs in Phoenix  and also for children’s program . She is still contributing in social works apart from working as a News Anchor.

She started working with Phoenix since 2005 and still working there as a Chief Meteorologist. Before that , she served as a feature News Reporter and weather anchor in weekends. According to reports of 2018, she is News Anchor for 5,6 and 10 pm news show. She started working in week nights as Chief Meteorologist from year 2011.

Caribe is bilingual . She can speak both Spanish and African-American language. She is fun loving person. She is interested in hiking, watching movies and reading. Her favourite book is “The shadow of the wind” written by Carlos Ruiz. She loves traveling and hopes to travel for  world trip once in her lifetime.
