Brian Snitker is an American professional baseball coach who currently serves as a manager in the Major League Baseball for the Atlanta Braves. Brian Snitker played college for the New Orleans Privateers baseball team of the University of New Orleans.

Brian Snitker joined the Atlanta Braves as a player in 1977 and in 1980 stopped playing to pick up the role of rowing instructor for the Braves. After Brian Snitker’s service as rowing instructor, he served various roles for the Atlanta Braves and was appointed as manager in 2016.

Brian Snitker is married to Veronica Ronnie and they have two children: Troy Michael Braves and Troy Braves.

Brian Snitker’s son,  Troy Braves, is an American professional baseball coach for the Houston Astros in Major League Baseball.

Troy Snitker played baseball at Brookwood High School and at college at St. George State College and North George College. Troy was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 19th round of the 2011 MLB Draft.

Troy later joined the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2013 but retired in 2014 due to a concussion.
