Brenton Thwaites is an Australian actor born on 10th August 1989. At the age of sixteen, Brenton gave his first appearance in front of a live audience in a rendition of the Shakespeare tragedy Romeo and Juliet. Prior to graduation, he made his feature film debut in Change Over You and afterwards starred in the short film Headsmen. In 2013, Thwaites earned a lead role as Tim Russell in the psychological horror film Oculus. His performance in the film was well received by Indiewire and opened new doors to him in the film industry. A year later, Brenton performed the role of JR in the crime thriller Son of a Gun, which ultimately provided him a critical acclaim and success. His other major films included Maleficent, The Giver and Gods of Eygpt.
