Rapper Torence Ivy Hatch, formerly known as Lil Boosie, was born on November 14, 1982, and is best known by his stage names Boosie BadAzz and simply Boosie.

Hatch started rapping in the 1990s as a member of the hip-hop group Concentration Camp. In 2000, with the publication of his debut album Youngest of da Camp, Hatch decided to pursue a solo career. He signed with Pimp C’s Trill Entertainment the year after quitting the label in order to release his second studio album, For My Thugz (2002).

Hatch, one of the most well-known figures in Southern hip hop, has since released seven studio albums under his own name, six albums with others, and 42 mixtapes.

Hatch received a 4-year prison term in 2009 for crimes including drugs and firearms. In addition to receiving a 10-year sentence for numerous counts of drug possession with the intent to distribute in 2010, he was also charged with first-degree murder. Hatch was released early on March 5, 2014, after completing five years in jail.

Boosie has eight kids from six different women. He stated that he did not think marriage was a good decision for him because he did not want to lose half of his wealth to his spouse in the event that he engaged in adultery.

He has also praised women who continue to be in a relationship with an unfaithful partner, saying he respects those women. Boosie was being held in prison when one of his ex-girlfriends, Walnita “Nita” Decuir, was detained on drug trafficking charges for allegedly trying to bring marijuana, codeine, and MDMA to him.

His kids live very private life revealing nothing about their daily lives besides the occasional pictures they share on their various social media.
