Bella Hadid Receives Apology From Instagram After They Delete Photo Of Her Father’s Passport
James Austin The social media platform, Instagram, apologized to Bella Hadid after she accused them of bullying her. Reportedly, the supermodel shared a photo in which her father’s passport from Palestine was put on display. Hadid asked the social sharing platform if there was something wrong with her father’s place of origin.
The 23-year-old wrote to Instagram, asking what part of her post was a form of “bullying, harassment, graphic, or sexual nudity?” The Victoria’s Secret model went on to say that the real bullying in the situation was the idea that one couldn’t be Palestinian on IG.
In another post, Hadid asked if they wanted her to change her father’s place of birth. Reportedly, the supermodel then asked her fans and followers to post where they’re from and state how proud they are of their origins.
A spokesperson for the organization, Facebook, the company that owns Instagram, said to Page Six that the banning of the photo had nothing to do with Hadid being Palestinian. They don’t allow users to post personal information about others, including passport numbers.
The representative admitted it was a mistake for them to remove it because the passport number had been blurred out. “We’ve restored the content and apologized to Bella for the mistake,” the representative added.
Bella and her sister, Gigi, are of Palestinian origin. The pair of supermodels have been all over the headlines ever since their meteoric rise in the modeling scene. Hadid dated the Toronto performing artist, The Weeknd, for several years in an intermittent relationship.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Bella and The Weeknd were still on speaking terms. Gigi Hadid, on the other hand, is reportedly pregnant with her boyfriend, Zayn Malik. The former One Directioner and Gigi confirmed the baby news near the ending of quarantine.

The announcement came as a huge surprise to many of their fans, considering Zayn’s relative silence on social media over the last few years. Similar to The Weeknd and Bella, Gigi and Zayn dated on and off for several years.
