Ava Dash is the eldest daughter of the Hip-Hop music producer Damon Dash and designer Rachel Roy.

She is also an author who co-wrote a book with her mother Rachel Roy.

Then gradually things began to go sour for the couple. In the year 2009, they finally filed for a divorce. Then a fierce custody battle for the girls followed. Later, they agreed to the joint custody of the girls.

It was again refueled when Roy filed for the sole custody of the girls accusing Damon of not being a good father and using marijuana in front of the kids. This was also backed by Ava that Damon has not been a good father so far and she and her sister Tallulah’s custody should remain with mother Rachel.

Damon even didn’t show up in court and lost the battle. This left him very sour and he threw a tantrum on Instagram about how his ex-wife did him wrong.
