Ambrosio broke down some of her beauty and skincare tips in a video with Vogue. She says that she likes to spend time in the sun, and she makes sure her skin's protected when she does so. "Sun is a big thing for me. I live in my bikini. I'm from Brazil. I always go to the beach. I live in California. Everyday is sunny here, so I have to wear sunblock. I want to protect my skin because I want to keep going into the sun."
Ambrosio makes self-care and unwinding a priority. She tells Well + Good that one of the ways she does so is by taking baths. "Every time I get off a plane, home or not home, I take a bath," she says. "I put Epsom salts [which are super-rich in magnesium] and aromatherapy oils in the water to turn wherever I am into a little spa."
Ambrosio tells SELF that she loves to get outside and workout. One particular workout she loves to do is run up an outdoor set of stairs. "I run the Santa Monica Stairs. They're really hard. I'll go up and down the [170] steps four to six times, usually once a week. It definitely helps the" backside "and legs while you're getting a little sun and fresh air at the same time."
Ambrosio tells SELF that one of her biggest wellness secrets is enjoying what she does. She says that she wants to do things that she finds fun. "Whatever I do, whether I'm modeling or doing my clothing line, ále by Alessandra, I just want to feel like it's fun. If you're doing something you don't like, you're wasting time. Life is short. There is so much to see and do and feel. We should enjoy every moment."
Ambrosio does a lot of cardio workouts, and she says that she loves to go outside to do them. She tells Harper's Bazaar, "I've been doing it and also have figured out different ways to incorporate cardio in my everyday routine. Instead of running indoors I go for a run in my neighbourhood, take a hike with friends or play volleyball at the beach."
