Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria are expecting their fifth child months after revealing she suffered a miscarriage.

Hilaria shared the family’s happy news via Instagram on Wednesday. She included a video of the baby’s heartbeat too.

“It is still very early, but we have learned that there is a little person inside of me. The sound of this strong heart makes me so happy, especially because of the loss we experienced in the spring. We want to share this news as we are excited and don’t want to hide the pregnancy,” the happy mama captioned her post.

Baby Baldwin will join siblings, Romeo Alejandro, age 16 months, Leonardo age 3, Rafael age 4, and Carmen age 6, as well as Alec’s oldest daughter Ireland age 23. The Baldwin house is about to get a lot fuller, and the couple is beyond excited.

The pregnant mama did make one request from fans and paparazzi while she endures the first few months of pregnancy.

“These first few months are tough with exhaustion and nausea, and I don’t want to have to pretend that I feel ok. My one request is that the media not send paparazzi to follow me or buy independent paparazzi photos, hence encouraging them. I want to remain peaceful during this very early time in my pregnancy and getting chased around by cameras is not in the doctor’s orders,” she expressed in her pregnancy announcement post.

There is no doubt her request stems from the miscarriage she suffered last April. Hilaria is likely being overly cautious, concerned, and wants to do everything in her power to have a smooth pregnancy.

Last spring, the fitness instructor candidly let her followers know she had a miscarriage. Hilaria chose to share her story in the hopes of changing the stigmatisms surrounding women having a miscarriage. She was obviously upset by what happened but used her loss to connect with other mons, as well as focus on the positives in her life.

“I am surrounded by such love, and I feel so fortunate. Thank you all for listening, for your support, and for sharing your own personal stories. We are stronger together,” she captioned a photo of her family after their loss.
