The athlete was named the 2019-20 OSBA MVP and Defensive Player of the Year and was one of five Canadians to participate in the 2019 NCAA Next Generation Camp.

She was the 2021 BIG EAST Sixth-Woman of the Year and the 2021 BIG EAST All-Freshman Team.

She has appeared in 36 games for Canada, including 14 as a member of the Senior International Team. She has represented the country in the 2019 FIBA Olympic Prequalifying Tournament, the 2019 FIBA American Cup, and the U17 FIBA World Cup and U16 FIBA Americas.

She has previously appeared in 26 games for Canada, 14 of which were as a member of the Senior International squad. Aaliyah is one of five Canadians selected to attend the NCAA Next Generation Camp in 2019.
