Emma Stone talked about getting into acting with The Talks. "Performing helped me as a kid to channel my energy somewhere else, to put it out instead of turning it inward. Acting is therapy, especially as a kid, it was nice to have an outlet like that when I was really struggling with panic attacks. Being on stage early on made me less afraid to try things that are challenging and scary."

Jennifer Lawrence is a close friend of Stone's. While promoting the final Hunger Games film, Lawrence talked about wanting to work hard and get a lot of roles. "I try to keep working so people can see other characters and other things I can do instead of taking vacation time, and now I'm aging like a president. Stone is close friends with Taylor Swift. In Swift's Time Person Of The Year interview, she talked about taking her music off Spotify, and standing up for artist's rights to be compensated. "I'm always up for trying something. And I tried it and I didn't like the way it felt. I think there should be an inherent value placed on art. I didn't see that happening, perception-wise, when I put my music on Spotify. Everybody's complaining about how music sales are shrinking, but nobody's changing the way they're doing things. They keep running towards streaming, which is, for the most part, what has been shrinking the numbers of paid album sales."

Ryan Gosling worked with Stone in La La Land and Crazy, Stupid, Love. Gosling also played Ken in Barbie, and himself and his co-stars did group sessions with trainer David Higgins. I really loved this group of guys; they're so positive and up for up for it."

Larson says that she has learned to use less makeup.  "While I've always had a skincare routine, it has changed over the years, of course, as I've gotten older. The main thing for me was once I started being on longer jobs where I am wearing [makeup longer] … it's not just putting the makeup on; it's the constant rubbing and touching up."

Olivia Colman worked with Stone on The Favourite. Colman works with trainer Dalton Wong to help her stay in shape. "We trained two-to-three times a week focusing on posture, resistance training and also cardio," Wong told Harper's Bazaar. "She also had soft-tissue work at least every week which helped improve her flexibility and reduce tension in her body."

Bradley Cooper is another friend of Stone's. In an interview with New York Magazine, Cooper talked about how his characters and roles have made an impact on him. "You don't move on. That's the beauty of what I get to do. My characters live inside me. I don't think they ever go away. It's sort of the beauty of it."

Michael Cera worked with Stone in Superbad. After having his first child, Cera talked about how he's changed since then to The Hollywood Reporter. Andrew Garfield worked with Stone in the Spider-Man films, and the pair dated but remain friends. He talked about finding genius spirit and one way he tries to find it to GQ. "I've been surfing a lot, and whenever I surf, that's a way of bringing it closer to me, for sure. And with work, definitely.
